Star Anise Essential Oil is steam distilled from the star shaped fruit, resulting in a thin oil with a sweet spicy scent reminiscent of black liquorice.
The oil is often used for respiratory conditions and is said to aid breathing, particularly in the treatment of cold and flu symptoms.
In addition, the sharp refreshing aroma, is also know for its stimulating and uplifting properties, which can have a positive effect on the emotions.
